Over the seasons, we’ve grown increasingly keen to offer you pieces made from natural-origin fibers. In 2024, more than 50% of our pieces carry the "Un brin de vert” label.

How do pieces in the collection earn the Un Brin de Vert label?
They must be made of more than 50% naturally derived fibers.
What does “fibers of natural origin” mean?
Natural fibers are obtained by physically and mechanically processing a natural material without changing its composition. There are two types of fibers considered to be of natural origin.
The first come from plants or animals, such as linen, cotton and wool, and undergo few processing steps. The second are cellulose-based fibers, such as viscose, modal and Tencel. These fibers come from plants and undergo chemical processing. They are known as man-made fibers of natural origin, and their production involves the use of organic solvents that are recycled and reused. At Grace & Mila, we use both types.
Why is polyester still used in our collections?
Polyester is widely used in both fashion and sportswear. It is durable, easy to care for, and affordable. Our aim is to gradually reduce its use in our collections. However, we cannot yet eliminate it completely without affecting the price of our pieces.
